The Hong Kong Volunteer Award is a territory-wide biennial campaign launched in 2005. Its aim is to raise public awareness of the value of volunteerism, and to facilitate the development of sustainable volunteerism in Hong Kong.
The Fourth Hong Kong Volunteer Award will commend 10 outstanding individuals and/or volunteer groups. A “Corporate Award” will be presented to an outstanding business corporation for its distinguished contributions and accomplishments in promoting volunteerism.
Nominations to the aforementioned awards are now being received by the Agency for Volunteer Service until 30 June 2011. For details of the Award and how to submit nominations, visit their website at www.avs.org.hk.
